A "No SIM" message almost always means the MTN Travel eSIM line is switched off or hasn't registered yet, not that your plan is gone. Work through the causes in order; the first three fix most cases in under a minute.
Give your phone a minute to connect once you land. Still nothing? Switch on Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, then switch it off again.
Turn it off, wait 30 seconds, and let the phone find a network.
A line added with "Turn On This Line Later" stays off until you turn it on. On iPhone: Settings > Cellular > your MTN Travel eSIM > Turn On This Line. On Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > turn the MTN Travel eSIM on. On other Android phones: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > your MTN Travel eSIM > Use SIM.
Restart it. On Samsung, "SIM not provisioned" or no service right after adding is common, and a restart clears most of it.
Once the line is on, turn on Data Roaming for it and select it for data. The taps are in Turn on data roaming for your plan on iPhone, Turn on data roaming for your plan on Samsung, and Turn on data roaming for your plan on Android.
If your SIM list shows no MTN Travel eSIM line, the plan was removed or never finished adding. Sign in on the MTN Travel eSIM website, go to My plans, and check whether your plan shows under your device. If it does, don't try to add it again yourself. Contact us first with the details below and we'll check whether it can be reissued.
Still not working? Contact MTN Travel eSIM support and include four things: your ICCID, your order number, your phone model and OS version, and what you've already tried.
